Kristin Finger discovered that she loved performing at an early age. When she was 8 she watched I Love Lucy for the first time and knew from that moment she wanted to make people laugh. From 2000-02 she attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC and found that any form of performing was what brought her joy. During her 5 years living in NYC she performed standup comedy at clubs such as; The Comedy Cellar and Standup NY. She also began her improv training in 2001 at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater where she completed their full curriculum.
Once she moved back to Philadelphia in 2006, she continued her improv training with CSz Philadelphia. In 2007, she became a main stage performer with CSz Philadelphia. Since becoming a cast member of CSz Philadelphia she's taken on the role of Education Director, teacher and graphic designer for the company.
Kristin keeps busy performing not only at CSz Philadelphia, but also at other local theaters, including 1812 Productions, Act II Playhouse, Good Good Comedy, PHIT and the now closed Figment Theater. She performs in independent groups such as; Grey Gardens, DoublePlay, Wisdom Teeth and the sketch duo Spirit Animal. She also teaches numerous improv classes and workshops throughout the city, along with coaching independent improv teams. Kristin is always taking workshops and continuing her performing education. Most recently she studied improv and sketch comedy at The Second City in Chicago.
